| Our normal business hours are Monday through
Friday, 8am to 5pm, EST. We do, however, have after-hours
support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week available to all our
customers, even on holidays!

Southern Retail Systems has its roots in an old and recognized
Kentucky company, Cash Registers Inc. (CRI).
CRI was formed in 1973 by Coye King, now Southern Retail
Systems' acting President. From 1973 to 1996, CRI served the
retailers in our area, with offices in London and Lexington, KY
with NCR, Panasonic, Micros, Data Terminal Systems, TEC, Casio,
Omron, ICL and other equipment and software.
In 1996 the owners of CRI sold controlling interest in CRI to
Bristol (a California based company) who said they were
committed to buying and combining CRI and similar firms around
the US into one large and more efficient firm capable of
providing improved price-performance for CRI customers. The
owners of CRI believed that you (our customers, friends and
employees) would be served better by a bigger, stronger firm.
For various reasons this plan failed to deliver to our
customers, friends and employees the intended benefits.
In August of 2000 a team of former owners and key employees of
CRI established Southern Retail Systems to service and sell
systems for food service (hospitality), food market (grocery and
convenience) and other retailers. Since that time, the firm has
grown and strengthened to become one of the top Toshiba TEC
resellers in the country.
We have also come to focus primarily on POS solutions for
quick-service and fast-casual restaurants. By doing so, this has
allowed us to hone our knowledge and skills to better service
you, our customers.
Now, with an install base that stretches from coast to coast, we
have become the biggest reseller of the TEC FS-3700 POS in the
United States.
In 2002 we released the first versions of our exclusive
Restaurant Information Manager (RIM) software, which is a
highly-advanced data-management system that gives you your POS
data in an easy to use website interface, with virtually no
input from the end-user. We have since been making nonstop
improvements and upgrades to RIM, and now have a RIM install
base in the hundreds. Literally hundreds of our customers have
gone to a virtually paperless reporting system, thanks to RIM.
We are proud to say we are constantly striving to better our
products and services to fit the needs of our customers. We
aren't just a team, we are a family that works closely together
to give you the best possible experience we can offer. |
